Starting from the left, Amber (top), Nil (middle), Zephriel (bottom), Collin, Lucas, Julia, Raziel, Teresa.
Of them, only Raziel started on the outside. I fell in love with him through dreams. I didn't realize at the beginning that even though the rendering of him was close to perfect in the best pictures, I was already seeing someone subtly different on the outside and vastly different inside. He was a vampire from the Legacy of Kain video game series. Now he's... I love him with all my heart and soul, which eats me up inside. I can't hold him here - not like I want to. And because his face and body are so similar to the vampire who sparked me to discover and merge with his existence, I don't know if I can tell his story with the others. The Raziel I love may not have anything to do anymore with a green vampire lord, a giant squid god, or a sword that eats souls - he's not even a vampire - but are lawyers and critics going to see it that way? I don't know. But I can't change him. I tried.
Calming myself down... My name is Julia. It is a good name, and probably the only thing my parents gave me that was right. So listing Julia as a soulbond gets a little more complicated than usual. She is... she is what I am. She is more me than I am. She has the abilities that I feel choking in me because of this disgusting human skin I live in. Even in looks, I feel like... like a perversion of what I was, what I should be. She is... she's... well, her... my story is a long one, and not to be told here or yet. My friends call her the white lady. Imagine Amalthea from The Last Unicorn and the female gelfling, Kira, from The Dark Crystal, if you've seen both those movies. Now you might have some idea, but there's so much I haven't explained...
Teresa is the strongest. Stronger than me, stronger than Raziel, at least in the sense of pushing around in my head. Her connection with me/Julia is something which, again, I could not condense down to a paragraph or even a chapter. Until I get my comics out, I don't think I could tell it all.
Lucas, Collin, and Amber are more private than the others. I almost didn't include Amber (who I also know as Autumn, though that isn't her first name either) because she is so different from the rest, running around thinking life is a gift and all.
Nil is mute. I am sure that she has all her physical senses, because like the rest, I can sometimes feel in and through her. Her mind, however, is blank - complete silence. She hardly has a will of her own and moves as if already dead. Even her physical form was affected - skin and hair looking bleached as bone but dirty as the rags she wears. Her real name isn't Nil - that's just what Teresa decided to start calling her one day and it stuck. I don't know if I'll ever be able to find out what she was before she was destroyed in the ghostfire. (ghostfire, which I use as my online nickname for most forums/journals, is a place, not a thing or a person, but that's yet another story.)
Zephriel has several interesting points, being a vampire, a double elemental magic user (water and wind), and having the distinction of being the only one of my originals to spend time in someone else's mind/spirit. (He's quite attached to her.)
I have more. Some not as strong, some with only one function, but... This description is at an end.
